-Snails(05/04)
-Reproduction in plants(09/03)

Before i was asked to do my research about the reproduction of snails, i didn`t even bother to notice the little fellow that had been living in this world with us.Thus, how would i even know how it reproduce!Thankfully,my biology teacher ringed the bell in my heads and i immediately went to do a reasearch about it.Quess what???Snails are considered to be hermaphrodites which means that they contains both the males and females reproductive system within them.Their reproductive organs is located on the side of their body which is close to the top of their body as well so as to allow for easier abilities to mate and to grow the baby snails.
Snails will go through a complete mating ritual with each other, which will usually lasts for an average of two to twelve hours. At the end of this ritual, the pair will fertilize the eggs in the other. When the eggs are fertilized, they will go through a process of growth inside the snail. It will typically take a snail egg two to four weeks in order to develop. As soon as they hatch, they will immediately move into a survival mode as their shells will still be in a weak form. They will start to find calcium as soon as they hatch by either eating their own egg or eating other eggs in order to get the extra nutrients. It will take around three months for the snails to completely form. After the snails are completely developed, they will detach from their parents and move into a different shell.
Intersting???0.0
To me,it is really very intersting although there are others amazings things that we have not yet uncovered.i had always wondered what are the uses of their shell and what would happens if we removed the shell aways from them.I thinks that We should learns from the snails their independance and long for survival and also their perservance as life is like that.If we don`t fight for ourselves and wait to be spoon feed, we will have to wait in our dreams.....This also applies to us as if we just brag about our future ambitions without any actions,in the end we will not get any taste of success. So,Guys, lets follow the snails........
Lastly, some more info for yours to take note:NOt all snails are hermaphrodites, some freshwater and marine species, specifically including Apple Snails and periwinkles still have a separate male and female species.Don`t ever underestimate the snails,we have lots to learn from them. Thus,we should not harm them as they are not that disgusting.they also have lives like us,so why should we insults it .From now,i will treats them with the respects they deserve.
